2009/2010 APEGBC Council Election and Bylaw Amendment Vote Results

Voting for the 2009/2010 Council election is now closed.

The online ballot was conducted using systems contracted from Everyone Counts Inc., which runs under high-security, SSL level, 128-bit encryption with anti-fraud controls and secure login for eligible voters. This third-party system protects the anonymity of a vote. Election results were only made available to APEGBC after the close of the election on October 2, 2009. Paper ballots were provided to members upon request.

Three registered members of the Association, Phil Sunderland, P.Eng., John Watson, P.Eng., and Dennis McJunkin, P.Eng, scrutinized the electronic and paper voting processes. The scrutineers have confirmed the ballot results and that the election was conducted in a confidential, fair and impartial manner.

This year, response from the membership improved over previous years with 27.7% of registered members returning ballots.
