APEGBC 2007 Annual Conference Offers “Unlimited Possibility” for Sponsors and Exhibitors
From October 25 to 27, 2007, the premiere Association event of the year will take place – the APEGBC Annual Conference and AGM. Held this year in beautiful Whistler, BC at the TELUS Whistler Conference Centre, the conference will provide sponsors and exhibitors with two full days to network with engineering and geoscience. Read on to see how this year’s conference features more business-building opportunities for sponsors and exhibitors than ever before.
With additional pre-conference sessions, members will be able to attend a wide host of professional development streams on hot topics, such as strategizing for climate change and working in the forest sector. Sponsoring these streams gives businesses unlimited possibility to network with consultants, managers, industry leaders, and government delegates. This year the Association has increased its streams from nine to eleven sessions in order to reflect the growing demands that the professions of engineering and geoscience are experiencing here in BC.
New sponsorship opportunities this year include an E-Centre, water bottle and note pad sponsor, which are all geared to provide more ways for the sponsor and conference delegate to connect. Sponsors will enjoy high visibility with their names and logos displayed prominently on a variety of media – the conference website, the Annual Conference registration brochure, Connections E-News, and Innovation, APEGBC’s official member journal.
Similarly, exhibitors will also be widely profiled at the 2007 Conference. The TELUS Conference Centre’s inviting, expansive ballroom will give exhibitors maximum exposure as delegates move from the building’s entrance to the dining and keynote presentation hall. Exhibitor packages offer either a single or double tradeshow booth, which include conference registrations, and recognition on signage and in the delegate conference booklet.
