Extraordinary Bylaw Amendment Ballot - A Reminder

As a result of a BC Supreme Court ruling in late September, there is no longer a bylaw that references the experience required to be registered as a professional engineer or professional geoscientist. At that time, APEGBC temporarily ceased to grant licences to new professional engineers (P.Eng.) and professional geoscientists (P.Geo.), until a new experience bylaw could be ratified by the membership. Special Bylaw amendment ballot packages were mailed to all professional members (P.Eng. and P.Geo.) last week. If you have not received your ballot package yet, please contact the Association at 604-430-8035 or 1-888-430-8035 or by e-mail at apeginfo@apeg.bc.ca and request a replacement.
