2008 APEGBC Council Work Plan
At its February 1, 2008 meeting, Council approved the 2008 Council Work Plan that was initiated at the November planning session. Priority issues identified include:
- Increase public profile and educate the public;
- Act Amendments including Building the House of Engineering & Geoscience;
- Implement the Professional Renewal Program within next 2 years;
- Performance tracking & accountability (Executive Director and Council performance evaluation using a balanced scorecard approach);
- Identify issues that impact the professions going forward;
- Increase member participation; and
- Non-Registration of Geoscientists & Engineers.
Council will discuss the issues on the finalized work plan over the coming year and will be seeking member input as part of these discussions.
