Members Invited to Participate in Survey on Engineering Technologists
As a part of research looking at the status of engineering technologists in Canada, Tom Roemer, a graduate student at Simon Fraser University, is conducting an online survey. This research will form part of a doctoral dissertation that will examine the value, identity and recognition of engineering technologists in the marketplace. Why did the designation evolve, is it still valuable and has it become a distinct occupational category with its own identity and recognition?
APEGBC members are invited to participate in the survey, which will ask respondents about how they envision technologists and engineers today. It consists of 24 questions and should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. No identifying information will be collected.
For more information about the survey, contact Tom Roemer at RoemerT@camoson.ca.
