Resumption of Practice Fee Now In Effect
Members are reminded that as of January 1, 2009, in addition to meeting the requirements set out in the Return to Practice Policy, members or former members of APEGBC wishing to reinstate their practicing status will be required to pay a Resumption of Practice Fee. The fee ranges from $157.50 to $315.00 depending on how long it has been since the member had practicing status.
An amended Non-practicing Bylaw and the Return to Practice Policy were brought into effect on January 1, 2009. These changes give consideration to the competency of members returning to practice, bringing the engineering and geoscience professions in BC into line with other professions in the province and elsewhere regarding return to practice.
