Registration Now Open for Annual Conference
Registration is now open for APEGBC’s Annual Conference and AGM in Kelowna, BC, from October 16-18, 2008 at the Grand Okanagan Lakefront Resort and Conference Centre. The conference will provide professional development opportunities, an extensive trade exhibition, and a number of social events.
Our comprehensive program features two days of professional development combining industry-leading technical and business sessions. Full session abstracts are available on the conference website. Sessions are eligible for professional development hours.
Professional development streams are being offered on municipal engineering, management, better business, sustainability and engineering and geoscience in the forest sector. This year, a new stream dedicated to young professionals is being offered.
The 89th Annual General Meeting begins on Saturday, October 18 at 8:30 am. All members are welcome and are encouraged to attend. There is no charge to attend the AGM business portions of the Annual Conference.
This year's social events include an Exhibitor Wine & Beer Tasting Reception, a Pirates of the Okanagan Fun Night and the President's Awards Gala.
