The Council Election Call for Nominations in the February 2007 edition of Connections said that candidates for Vice-President must have served on Council for at least one year, and candidates for President must have served on Council for at least two years. In fact, as per Bylaws 3(b) and 3(e), this applies only to candidates put forward by the Nomination Committee; required Council experience does not apply to candidates nominated by 25 members in good standing.
