Geoscience BC Offers Post-Graduate Scholarships
This year, Geoscience BC will be awarding up to 10 scholarships to students enrolled in masters or doctoral earth science or geoscience programs and working on a mineral or oil and gas exploration-related thesis project in British Columbia. The scholarships will be $5,000 each.
Scholarships will be awarded to students based on their project's technical merit, the ability of the project to attract mineral and oil and gas investment to BC, the student's interest in exploration, and the academic qualifications of the student.
Masters students may receive the Geoscience BC scholarship only once during their program. Successful PhD students may reapply for a second year of funding provided they have made appropriate progress in their studies.
