Government Representatives Pattison and Emperingham Re-appointed to APEGBC Council
A recent Order of the Lieutenant Governor in Council has re-appointed two of APEGBC’s government appointees to Council for another two-year term. Effective July 21, 2006, Dr. Marilyn Pattison, PhD, and Mr. Roy Emperingham BA, MPA, CHRP, will begin their second terms on APEGBC’s Council.
Dr. Pattison holds a PhD in Higher Education from the University of Toronto and has worked at the Council of Ontario Universities, and the Ministry of Colleges and Universities in policy development. She is currently president of the Greater Victoria YM/YWCA.
Mr. Emperingham is a recognized leader in human resources and labour relations. Through his company 2nd Quadrant Solutions Limited he works with a range of clients from WCG International HR Solutions to Infomart (a division of Southam Newspapers), and the Canadian Educational Resources Council. He is currently project leader for the development and marketing of YourCareerWave.com.
Both Dr. Pattison and Mr. Emperingham have been valuable assets and APEGBC has benefitted from the background and expertise they have brought to Council Meetings. They rejoin their fellow government appointees serving on council, Mr. Lawrence Woo, CA and Dr. Joan Hansen, OD.
