DEGIFS Offers Forest Engineering and Geoscience Bursaries
The Division of Engineers and Geoscientists in the Forest Sector (DEGIFS) is pleased to offer two bursaries, each for $2,000, in 2007. The bursaries are intended to provide financial assistance to students in an accredited post-secondary or post-graduate program at a degree-granting institution in BC who intend to apply for registration as either a Professional Engineer or Professional Geoscientist upon completion of their studies. Studies should relate directly to professional forest engineering and/or forest geoscience/geotechnique. The deadline for applications is June 30, 2007.
