New CPD Guideline Takes Effect January 2012
Members are reminded that APEGBC’s new Continuing Professional Development Guideline takes effect January 2012. The guideline was revised to align with the requirements of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta and was introduced in April 2011.

Annual Membership Renewal Now Under Way
Membership renewal notices were sent to APEGBC members by e-mail during the last week of October. For those members who have not selected the “online billing only” option, renewal packages will be sent via postal service starting November 15.The annual membership renewal deadline is January 1, 2012.

To support the updated Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements, a new CPD recording centre is under development and will launch in the new year.
