Deadline for APEG-MAPS Scholarships Applications – October 31, 2006
The deadline to apply for the annual APEG-MAPS University Undergraduate scholarship is fast approaching. Scholarship applications should be received no later than Tuesday, October 31, 2006.
Students who belong to the APEGBC Member Advantage Program for Students (MAPS) are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
The APEG-MAPS Scholarship Awards have been developed to reward undergraduate student members who have exemplified professional traits, including honesty, fairness, responsibility, fundraising, volunteering, extra-curricular learning, and active involvement within the industry.
Scholarship applications are evaluated on the basis of the student’s current resume, a student statement, and how students have involved themselves with the engineering or geoscience profession in the previous years. Students will be eligible for the awards according to the year level of their last academic term completed. Students must have been full-time students in the qualifying year.
