Revised ACEC Agreement Document Revised
The Association of Canadian Engineering Companies (ACEC) has revised its Document 31, Engineering Agreement Between Client and Engineer. The new document is a major rewrite of the previous 1996 version, and was prepared for small to medium sized projects which may lead to construction and where the engineer is either the lead (prime) consultant involved in the project.
The new Document 31 incorporates schedules to identify and describe services and fees, and to permit users to execute the document in either a paper or online electronic form. It comes with an updated guide that provides supplementary and explanatory information for the preparation and use of the revised Document 31.
