Local Survey Seeks To Identify Green Building Market Trends

Vancouver’s Sustainable Building Centre – now called Light House – is conducting a survey of BC-based architects, engineers and contractors to determine the level of demand for green building-related services.  The results will allow firms to measure themselves against the industry average and identify green building opportunities.

The Green Building Market Survey will identify new market trends and establish a baseline for measuring growth in BC’s green building industry.  It has 17 questions and will take less than six minutes to complete; responses will be held confidential.  The survey can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=849432387925.  The closing date for the survey is October 31, 2006, and results will be published in the fall of 2006. The survey will be repeated annually.
