AGM Motions for Advanced Publication - September 15
The 92nd Annual General Meeting of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC will be held October 15, 2011. In order to enable publication in advance of the Association’s 2011 Annual General Meeting, proposed motions should be submitted to the Governance Committee no later than September 15, 2011.

New Plumbing Fixture Requirements in BC Building Code
The Province is introducing new requirements for high-efficiency toilets and urinals in the BC Building Code this Fall. These new requirements will apply to building permit applications that are submitted on or after October 3, 2011.

APEGBC Annual Conference - Important Deadline Dates
Members are reminded that the early fee deadline for Annual Conference registration is fast approaching.  Early registration fees are applicable until September 12, 2011. After this date, full fees will be in effect.  Also, for those planning on booking hotel accommodation at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort & Conference Centre, please note that in order to secure the special APEGBC rates, room reservations must be made by September 12, 2011. After this date, room rates will be based on availability.

Conference Session Recordings Available this Year
New this year, conference participants will be able to add online conference recordings to their registration package. The professional development sessions will be captured in digital audio and then synchronized to the speaker’s presentation slides as part of the APEGBC learning centre.
