List of Professional Practice Committees

• APEGBC/AIBC Joint Practice Board - Reviews common issues relating to the architectural and engineering aspects of small building design, and reviews applications for Certificates of Authorization from architectural firms wishing to practise engineering, and engineering firms wishing to practise architecture.
• APEGBC/ABCFP Joint Practice Board - Reviews common issues related to forestry and engineering/geoscience.
• Building Codes - Reviews matters relating to building regulations in BC.
• Building Envelope - Provides Council with building envelope related issues.
• Consulting Practice - Reviews professional practice matters related to engineering and geoscience consulting.
• Environment - Reviews environmental matters, such as new legislation, and recommends policy positions to Council.
• Practice Review - Responsible for administering the Practice Review Program and adjudicating Practice Review files.
• Sustainability - Promotes members', and others', understanding of the Guidelines for Sustainability and the benefits of application.
