Accreditation
APEGBC does not have a formal accreditation process for external professional development providers. Determination of course value is left to the judgment of the member taking the course. There are advertising opportunities available to both technical or non-profit associations and external professional development providers.

Members who participate in any professional development activity they believe to be relevant to their practice will have their activity recognized as 1 contact hour being equivalent to 1 Professional Development Hour (PDH).

The APEGBC logo is not available for marketing purposes for external professional development events.

Advertising
APEGBC has two advertising options available.

1) Technical or Professional Societies: Conferences, seminars and Annual General Meeting notices may be posted free of charge on the APEGBC Calendar of Events web page. Events are also listed in Innovation magazine on a space available basis. To list a notice in the Calendar of Events please contact Tim Verigin at tverigin@apeg.bc.ca.
