APEGBC Distance Education

The Association is pleased to announce the launch of our first Distance Education Multimedia Conference (CD-Rom). The Law & Ethics program is now available in an interactive CD-Rom format. Members now have a choice between attending the in person seminar, or viewing the CD-Rom anywhere they have computer access.

APEGBC developed the Distance Education program in response to the overwhelming demand for Continuing Professional Development Seminars. The creation of these Multimedia Conference CD-Roms will allow provincial and international members to access professional development at their convenience and in a location of their choice.

These interactive CD-Roms provide a prerecorded video of the seminar, which plays simultaneously with the original power point presentation.

CD-Rom features:

  • Pause, replay and fast forward the video and slides;
  • Preview slides;
  • Print the powerpoint presentations;
  • Save and exit from your current location in the program and return to that point when you are ready to continue your viewing;
  • Email questions to the original instructor

Note: The Distance Education Multimedia Conference CD-Roms are PC compatible only.

Please see Technical Support FAQ for troubleshooting information regarding the setup or use of your Distance Education Multimedia Conference (CD-Rom).
