Accountability starts with clearly defined performance goals. Translating an organizations business objectives into daily tasks is the process side of performance management. Without clearly defined goals, we cannot determine if it is the person or the process that must be coached.
At the completion of this session, participants will be able to:
- Create a picture of what their job looks like when it is being done well
- Write a document that defines performance expectations
- Identify key skills, knowledge and abilities essential to job performance
- Translate business objectives into daily activities with measurable results
- How to conduct an effective performance review with follow up actions
- Coaching to improve performance
Who should attend:
This seminar benefits project team leaders and all management roles. Managers that have a number of direct reports and want to learn to manage expectations, keep their employees accountable for their position and assist their people in coaching for improvement. Managers that understand that the two sides to management are managing process and leading people, will able to learn skills in both of these areas.
