Rob Hunter LLB. focuses on resolving insurance, construction, engineering, architectural, environmental and professional regulatory litigation with an emphasis on the representation of design professionals in liability claims and contractual disputes. Rob also acts on behalf of professional regulatory bodies and has an environmental defense practice.
Rob acts for some of Bull, Housser & Tupper LLP's prominent clients in the construction industry including the Architectural Institute of British Columbia, the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, and ENCON Insurance Managers Inc., the largest professional liability insurer in Canada. He also provides environmental defense advice to the firm's clients. |

Shelley O’Callaghan LLB. advises utility, municipal, industrial, financial, development and resource sector clients on a broad range of environmental matters. This includes providing advice on the acquisition and divestiture of industrial sites, monitoring environmental audits and site assessments, managing of contaminated sites remediation processes, advising lenders, receivers and trustees on liability issues, handling negotiations with provincial and federal regulatory authorities and conducting environmental reviews under provincial and federal assessment legislation.
Shelley has significant experience in advising both the public and private sector on the environmental review processes required for major projects in British Columbia, including public-private partnerships. Shelley advised the BC Transportation Finance Authority on the application of the provincial and federal review processes in the proposed upgrade of the Lions Gate Bridge. Shelley recently acted for the Province on the Vancouver Centre Expansion Project providing strategic advice concerning the appropriate environmental assessment process, including development of First Nations and public consultation strategies. Shelley is also a founding member of the Canadian Centre for Environmental Arbitration and Mediation (CCEAM). |
