This presentation will explore the relationships between sustainable development, climate change planning, and municipal engineering and share knowledge on tools that help municipal engineers respond to some of the pressing challenges and opportunities of the day
Mark Holland MCIP will “connect the dots” between sustainability and climate change concepts, community development, and some of the changes that are underway that will help make the vision of liveable, sustainable communities in BC a reality.
Bud Fraser PEng will discuss engineering and design approaches that are responsive to some of the sustainability challenges faced by BC communities, including tools and resources that are available and being developed to help support municipal engineers and local governments.
The session will also be an opportunity for engineers to share knowledge and experiences in the fast-changing area of sustainability.
