From complex banking applications to sophisticated computer games, software applications are being developed and released on a continual basis. Why are some applications fraught with bugs and why are others released with minimal disruptions? What is the process that takes place behind-the-scenes to ensure that software is developed using an industry best practice methodology so programmers are not caught in a difficult scenario? This seminar takes the audience behind the scenes of a typical software project and lays out the right way and the wrong way to build software, as well as injects some risks/constraints that arise in the real world which may challenge one's ideal view of how software should be developed.
