Seminar

Are you feeling caught between a clock and a hard place?

We are now in the “value era”; a hyper-competitive world, where clients are demanding more from companies and in turn companies are demanding more from their people. In this stripped down, every-job-counts world, it is becoming painfully evident that to be a good time manager is no longer a luxury, rather it has become an absolutely essential survival competency in the new economy.

This unique workshop redefines in practical, relevant terms this greatly misunderstood field of study. Many time management programs are based in “industrial age” thinking, suggesting obsolete, guilt-inducing strategies and techniques that were designed for a world that no longer exists. This workshop is proven, practical and principle-based, in which the participants develop strategies and systems that are right for their personality types and job functions. Because of this approach, this workshop has proven to be of great benefit to participants in both their work and personal lives.

What Participants will Learn…

  • The most common mistakes that people make with their time
  • Three essential strategies that help you gain control over your time
  • How to deal with electronic communication overload
  • How to minimize the number of interruptions and how to control their duration
  • How to create “to do lists” that really work! …Overcoming “to-do list” frustration
  • The vital role that EQ ( Emotional Intelligence ) plays in successful time management and how to develop it
  • How to plan your time to ensure you get the most important tasks activities completed
  • How to successfully set and manage multiple priorities
  • How to schedule your time for optimum productivity and flexibility
  • How to create a high performance “flow” work environment
  • How to say NO without feeling guilty or damaging the relationship
  • Techniques that will help you overcome procrastination
  • How to make make meetings work - strategies and tactics for creating meaningful conversations that move the group from talk to action
