Competency Online Tool

New Optional Experience reporting through the Competency Online Tool

P.Eng. applicants in the areas of practice of Structural, Civil: Municipal/Infrastructure, and Electrical: Power and Industrial now have the option to complete their application and experience review using a new online tool based on APEGBC’s Competency-Based Assessment System.

This secure, easy-to-use online tool is recommended for both those ready to apply for P.Eng. registration and EIT’s in their third and fourth years of experience ready to start recording their progress.  This paperless system will enable the submission, validation, and assessment of applications online.  The online tool will be expanding to include additional areas of practice in the coming year.

To register for an account, or for further information, please contact competency@apeg.bc.ca.  For those who have already registered, the Online Competency Tool for Application, Validation and Assessment can be accessed at https://competency.apeg.bc.ca

For more information about using the online tool, please see the User Guide.  For more information about the Competency-Based Assessment system itself, please see the Competence Assessment Guide.

Note: Further guidance and group presentations are available for interested employers please contact competency@apeg.bc.ca.
