| The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of B.C. regulates and governs the professions under the authority of the Engineers and Geoscientists Act by setting and maintaining high academic, experience and professional practice standards for all members. Professional members licensed by APEGBC are the only persons permitted by law to undertake and assume responsibility for engineering and geoscience projects in the province of B.C.

Specialist Designation: APEC and EMF Register of Professional Engineers
If you are currently a Professional Engineer looking to practice engineering in another country, you may want to read further into the mobility agreements made by the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the Engineering Mobility Forum (EMF) Register of Professional Engineers. These listings will facilitate your rights to practice engineering in countries such as Australia, China, Ireland, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States. |

EIT/GIT Online Experience Reporting System
EITs or GITs registered with APEGBC may use the Online Experience Reporting System to report their work experience and receive immediate feedback and credit towards their Professional Engineer or Professional Geoscientist designation. To access the system:
- User name is your APEGBC 6 digit System ID#.
- Password is your date of birth in yyyymmdd format ( no slashes ). |

Confirmation of Membership
APEGBC will be pleased to confirm your membership status. This is usually required for members who wish to apply at another Association, or for applicants needing proof for their employers. Please see this section for details. |
