What benefits will I no longer receive if I resign?

If you resign from APEGBC, please be aware that you will no longer be eligible for our Member Services and Affinity Programs.

If you wish to maintain group life policy insurance with the Manulife Financial Assurance Company through the plan sponsored by Engineers Canada (CCPE), you must have active membership with one of the provincial or territorial constituent Associations/Ordre of the Canadian Council of Professional Engineers.

If you wish to maintain contact with APEGBC, a yearly subscription to Innovation Magazine is available.

How do I re-join at a later date?

To re-join the Association at a later time, you will need to resume your practicing rights . Please refer to the Resume your Practice Rights Page for specific details.

How do I resign in good standing?

You must complete one of the following process to RESIGN your APEGBC membership in good standing;-

1. Login to the member portal  using your System ID & password then following the Fee Payment link to the totals section, then tick the box RESIGN complete the process confirming your choice. You must complete one of the following process to RESIGN your APEGBC membership in good standing;-

2. Fill in & Sign the RESIGN MEMBERSHIP section found on page two of your annual member fees renewal notice.

You should familiarize yourself with the Return to Practice  and Reinstatement requirements  in the event that  you wish to resume membership at a future date.
