Obituaries

The names of deceased members normally appear in the In Memoriam section of the Membership report that is regularly published in Innovation.

Due to space constraints and the number of requests received, the publication of more complete obituaries is limited to Past Presidents of APEGBC and members who have made outstanding contributions to the professions or public in BC or are widely known, such as founders or presidents of major engineering firms that have contributed substantially to BC’s development over the past century.

For other members we can, on a space available basis, publish a tribute or remembrance from colleagues or family members in the form of a Letter to the Editor (maximum 300 words). Alternatively, a shorter notice may be submitted for inclusion in the Newsmakers section subject to space availability.
