The APEGBC Division of Environmental Professionals (DEP) is now active and looking for volunteers!

DEP Members:

Thank you for your interest in the new Division of Environmental Professionals under APEGBC.

Membership benefits include reduced rates at DEP-sponsored events, access to newsletters and voting privileges at Division general meetings.

Division’s Goals
This division’s overall goals are to advance environmental engineering and environmental geoscience, to promote education and high standards of practice and to provide advice to Council on current issues for practitioners.

About DEP

Division of Environmental Professionals Founded

The Division of Environmental Professionals (DEP) was recently formed. This new APEGBC division’s overall goals are to advance environmental engineering and environmental geoscience, to promote education and high standards of practice in the field and to present considered opinions and recommendations to council on issues pertaining to the fields of environmental engineering and geoscience.

If you are an APEGBC member working within an environmental field and wish to join the Division of Environmental Professionals, free membership in DEP will be available for the remainder of the 2008 calendar year. Membership benefits will include reduced rates at DEP-sponsored events, access to newsletters and voting privileges at Division general meetings.

Student and Affiliate (non-APEGBC) members training or working in the environmental fields are welcome. Input and volunteers to guide the direction of DEP are also appreciated.
