Experience Reporting

Engineering and geoscience undergraduate students are able to get up to one year credit from pre-graduate work experience towards their 4 years of work experience that is required to become a professional member. APEGBC has created this guide to assist and support engineering and geoscience students in the reporting of their work experience obtained during pre-graduate work experience. This guide outlines how to record your pre-graduate experience, what is required to receive credit towards your engineering or geoscience in-training status as well as certain steps that you should take.

Please click here to access the guide.  If you have any questions, please contact Amit Plaha, Student Program Coordinator at aplaha@apeg.bc.ca.

APEGBC Student Advisory Committee
In October 2009, APEGBC created a student advisory committee to get greater input from students in the development of the APEG-MAPS Student program. This committee is comprised of representatives from engineering and geoscience undergraduate student societies across the province.

As many of our members have recently graduated, we are currently in the process of filling out these positions.

APEG-MAPS Membership
