2011 Post Secondary Entrance Scholarship

The 2011 Post Secondary Entrance scholarship application is now available!

The APEGBC Foundation offers several entry scholarships to British Columbia high school graduates entering engineering or geoscience programs at the University of British Columbia, University of Victoria, Simon Fraser University, British Columbia Institute of Technology and the University of Northern British Columbia. The entry scholarships, valued at $2,500 each, are awarded on the basis of a combination of factors. Applications are evaluated on the basis of academic standing, extracurricular activities, financial need and student statement.

The scholarship will be paid directly to the university upon confirmation of registration (If successful, you should indicate on your university fee card that a scholarship was awarded by APEGBC)

To Apply

1. Submit the completed signed form by June 27, 2011 to APEGBC - Attention: Post Secondary Entrance Scholarships.
2. Arrange for a certified copy of your final transcripts (including your provincially examinable courses) to be sent to APEGBC. If we do not receive your transcript by August 8, 2011 your application may not be considered.
3. If you are among the final qualifiers you will be advised by the third week of August at which time you will be asked to submit changes of address and phone numbers, and a listing of other scholarships received. Final selection will be completed in September 2011.
