2011 APEG-MAPS Scholarship Application Forms Now Available!

As a member of MAPS, you are eligible to apply for a scholarship in recognition of your abilities and achievements. APEGBC returns 50% of annual MAPS fees collected to this scholarship program, and seeks matching contributions from industry and other sources.

These scholarships are offered annually, and reward undergraduate students who have exemplified professional characteristic traits, which include: honesty, fairness, responsibility, fundraising, volunteering, extra-curricular learning, and active involvement within the industry. Scholarships are also available for students who have worked to advance the professions through activities such as encouraging others to pursue careers in engineering or geoscience, working on a publication which educates readers on the professions, organizing extra-curricular activities within engineering or geoscience, participating in a professional student organization, and encouraging others to participate in said activities.
