Geoscientists Canada Fellowship

The Geoscientists Canada Fellowship honours individuals who have given noteworthy service to the geoscience profession, through service to Geoscientists Canada, service to one of the provincial and territorial regulatory bodies that are the constituent associations of Geoscientists Canada, or service in another capacity.

Being bestowed with this honour means that these dedicated geoscientists have the privilege of using the designation Fellow of Geoscientists Canada or FGC. Dedicated individuals who are selected, and who are not geoscientists, may use the designation Honorary Geoscientists Canada Fellow or FGC (Hon.).

Nominations

Nominations are sought once annually, for approval at the spring/summer meeting of the Board of Directors. Nominations may be submitted by Geoscientists Canada or by a constituent association and must be signed by the president or chair and the CEO, or Executive Director/Registrar.
