Transit: For those taking transit, the venue is a 10-15 min. walk (1.0 km) from either Brighouse or Lansdowne Skytrain station.

Please join us for an informative evening including the Richmond/Delta Branch Annual General Meeting (AGM), dinner, and a presentation by the Vice President of APEGBC, Dr. Ed Casas, P.Eng. Topics for the evening will be "An Update on Council and the Association" and "A Year in Review - Richmond/Delta Branch" as part of the branch AGM. Please read below for more details.

The Richmond/Delta Branch of APEGBC invites you to join them for their AGM to learn about all the great things that they have done for 2016 to engage with members and promote engineering and geoscience to the younger generation. This is a great chance to meet the volunteer members of the branch executive and network with your peers during the networking session and over a nice dinner. We hope to see you there!

Speaker

Dr. Ed Casas, P.Eng.
Vice President, APEGBC

Dr. Ed Casas, P.Eng., is an instructor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Dr. Casas was previously an adjunct professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UBC and taught wireless communications, design of digital and microcomputer systems, digital instrumentation for mechanical systems, and several other courses. He earned his Master's of Engineering in electrical engineering at McMaster University and, previous to that, earned his Bachelor of Applied Science in electrical engineering at the University of Ottawa.
