Remember to Update your CPD Guideline Compliance
During the membership renewal process, APEGBC asks members to indicate whether they have met the requirements of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Guideline for the 2016 calendar year by checking a box on their 2017 annual membership renewal form or through the online membership renewal process.

You can also complete this step via your online member record by logging onto the APEGBC website through the APEGBC Member Portal. Under “Manage Professional Development,” then "Report your professional development: Compliance," find options to declare your professional development compliance and indicate your CPD hours for 2016.

Continuing professional development is one of the ways that members stay current in their area of practice, and compliance with the guideline  is highly recommended. Members who indicate their compliance with the guideline are recognized with a “Declared CPD Compliant” note in the online member directory. This allows APEGBC to publicly demonstrate engineers and geoscientists’ commitment to practice excellence.
