Vancouver Revises Erosion and Sediment Control Policy for Developments

The City of Vancouver has revised its policy related to erosion and sediment control on large-lot (more than 1,000 m2) and small-lot (less than 1,000 m2) developments.
The large-lot policy revisions now define who can conduct environmental monitoring for job sites. Environmental monitoring must be completed by a qualified professional with one of a number of specified acceptable professional designations. Professional engineers (P.Eng.’s) and engineers-in-training (EITs) are included in the list.
