BURNABY, BC — Eight outstanding individuals and two projects were honoured by The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC (APEGBC) at its Annual Conference in Victoria, BC, from October 21–22, 2016.

This year’s President’s Awards recipients have truly made a difference in their respective professions, careers, or communities. They are being honoured for exceptional professional careers, outstanding service to the community and professional associations or learned societies, distinctive achievements in their professional fields, and excellence in teaching.

APEGBC’s Sustainability Award recognizes a project that demonstrates a commitment to, and understanding of the concept of sustainability, while the APEGBC Environmental Award recognizes a project that includes exceptional environmental protection or environmental enhancement.
